Of course, with some DNA samples and gene sequencing, we should be able to recreate any species that manages to fumble its way into the dustbin of natural selection in the near future...we might also want to gengineer in some kind of gene that allows the "Horton Plains slender loris" to survive on food other than ripe guavaberries, or whatever ultra-niche food it eats.
If only capitalism and rule of law were a little more prevalent in Africa, the people wouldn't be forced to go "bushmeat hunting" so much as "Safewaymeat buying." But hey, all cultures are equal. Seacrest out!
